DATELINE: May 21, 2005 - Berkeley, CA - Hey Mexifornia, Dick Tracy Wants to be your Governor ...or not. Yes. No. Er...mebbe?

Not "ruling out" a run for governor, Beatty appears to be an
ideal candidate for a Maalox commercial, with this gassy grin.

Warren Beatty addressed the graduating class of UC Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy last Saturday. He decided to use the opportunity to not only grimace and point ridiculously for the Associated Press photographers (inset), but also to severley censure current government Republicans, saying taxes need to be raised for the rich, and that he for one, "is so rich that he can afford to handle [a tax hike], so what does he care? He then went on to insult The Governator, who in his opinion, simply being person who has "...the capacity to put some words together and the capacity to contribute..." is not enough, and since "I've been around longer...this is my home state.", then that would make him the better choice for the job in 2006.

"I don't want to run for governor," he told the audience in his commencement speech. Wait! Didn't you just say you'd do a better job though? He says, "I'm an opponent of his muscle-bound conservatism with a longer experience in politics than he has ... I'd do one helluva lot better job than he's done."

So what's it gonna be Dick? You gonna do it, or are you gonna just continue to flake out and ramble on about nothin'? If you decide to just be all talk and no walk...it'd be cool with me, but hey, can you at least have some popcorn for all of us next time you decide to step up on the soapbox and entertain us with your crackpot antics? That'd rawk.
